George Hotz aka Geohot has released a short video demonstrating an untethered jailbreak solution for devices like iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 2G/3G that currently use tethered jailbreaks. Although a good news for iPod/iPhone users, he says that the solution could also work with iPad which is yet to reach consumers or retail shelves.
He hasn’t spilled the release timeframe of the jailbreak but says it will be as simple as blackra1n.
