Back in December, Creative released their first Bluetooth-enabled ZiiSound range of speakers in India and here they’re after five months, with their successor – the ZiiSound Dx. Unlike last time, we don’t have a portable boom box speaker but adds a sub-woofer to its range. The ZiiSound D5x is the top of the range speaker that costs Rs. 17,999 whereas the lower-end model, D3x goes for Rs. 9,999. The sub-woofer goes at the same price as D3x.
Unique thing about the new speakers are that they can be paired up with each other that can be extended to a 3.1 channel setup.
All the devices include stereo Bluetooth with apt-X support as well as an aux-in to connect non-Bluetooth devices. The D5x also comes with BT-D5 Bluetooth transmitter that plays the music from the iPod / iPhone as well as charges it.
Creative also unveiled WP Series Bluetooth headphones that come with an “invisible mic” and boasts noise suppression, crystal clear audio quality and battery life of up to 9 hours.
The headphones will be available from September this year.
