LG has announced a new ultrawide monitor that touts to be the world’s first monitor to feature an aspect ratio of 21:9. According to LG this cinematic aspect ratio on the 29-inch EA93 is perfect for consumers who want to watch movies.
The monitor also enhances multitasking capabilities by supporting 4-screen split feature and supports a resolution of 2560×1980 pixels, sRGB 100% color gamut, 300nits of brightness, 2 HDMI ports, 4 USB 3.0 ports, dual DVI and 5ms response time.
LG will sell the monitor first in Korea followed by other regions. Its priced at 690,000 won.
